Welcome To Emperor Class
Welcome to Emperor Class 2019 - 20
Here’s an idea for what could be your morning routine during the week:
9 am – PE. Find a safe place (with a bit of space around you) in your home and exercise along with Joe Wicks, who will be streaming 30-minute workouts from 9 am each day of the week. Copy and paste this link, which should take you to his YouTube channel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K6r99N3kXME
9.30 am – Maths. As with Joe Wicks, Gareth Metcalfe is doing a similar daily thing but for maths on his website. http://www.iseemaths.com/home-lessons/
After the maths session, you could head straight over to Newsround to catch up with the latest news. https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/news/watch_newsround
Take a break from looking at your learning device at this point, to give your eyes a rest.
Next, you could go to http://www.pobble365.com/and look at the picture. Either finish the story, answer questions related to the picture, which is updated each day, or make up a short story based on the picture, without even looking at any of the text. Remember to include as many appropriate words from the year 5/6 word list as you can.
And, be sure to keep logging in to your Times Tables Rock Stars account to keep your brain working.
Carol Vorderman's The Maths Factor site currently has lots of interactive lessons available for free. https://www.themathsfactor.com/
