Hawker Class

Welcome to Hawker Class!

You can find details of the fabulous learning we do over the year in our weekly newsletter and on the Townley School Facebook page.

The yearly overview of our curriculum can be found at the top of this page.
If you would like any further information about our learning or curriculum please do speak to one of the team.

Each week, I write a section on the newsletter to update parents and carers about what has been happening in class. The newsletter is sent out on a Friday evening by email.

NEWS/ UPDATES:
Forest School sessions are on a Monday afternoon. Please ensure your child wears comfortable, sensible clothes and footwear. This should include full coverage of a child's arms and legs (so long sleeves and trousers please) as this helps to protect them. We are happy for your child to wear their clothes into school for the day, however we recognise that this causes some children some anxiety, so if they prefer to come in wearing school uniform, they can get changed before we go over to the forest area.
PE  - Friday afternoon. Please send your child in wearing their PE kits on Friday. You must remove any jewellery from your child, especially any earrings (unless they can do this independently themselves) and long hair must be tied back. These are safety requirements. We are not allowed to "tape" earrings or to take them out for your child - this is a Cambridgeshire schools policy.
