Hot and Cold Writing Tasks Autumn 2018

At the start of term the children were asked to produce a written description of a setting. This was done before any teaching input, this is known as a 'Cold Task'. It helps show improvement at the end of a unit of work. We are delighted with the work produced by these two children and hope you can see the progress in the before 'Cold Task' and after 'Hot Task' (final piece of work, produced at the end of the unit). Their next step will be to use editing stations to further improve this piece of writing. Well done Olivia and Lily-Rose!
