Townley School has Federated with Friday Bridge Primary School, all new staff will be appointed to the Federation.

Office Assistant - 6 hours per week

Scale C - 39 week contract (£13.26 per hour)

 

Required as soon as possible

 

We are looking to appoint an Office Assistant to provide administrative support in our very busy school office. Applicants should be organised and friendly with excellent communication skills, and be able to remain calm under pressure. Ideally, we would like the postholder to work one day per week, we can be flexible with which day this is.

 

Main duties will include

• Assisting in general administration; word processing, spreadsheets, receptionist duties (communicating with staff, governors, pupils, parents and visitors (both in person and by telephone), processing incoming and outgoing post, e-mails, photocopying/printing, distribution of correspondence and provision of first aid.

• Undertaking general staffing administration including maintaining confidential staff records and undertaking safeguarding checks.

• Assisting with the maintenance of computerised data and management information for pupils including admissions/leavers, pupil absences, registers etc. on SIMS

• Assisting with Purchase Order processing and raising of invoices.

 

The ideal candidate will

• Be an organised and confident administrator

• Ideally be able to work flexibly to cover absence as required

• Work with a high level of attention to detail

• Have excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word, Publisher and Excel (Essential Criteria)

• Have a clear understanding of confidentiality.

• Be able to build professional relationships with parents and staff and caring relationships with children

• Be committed to upholding and supporting the Federation’s values and aims

Supply Teaching Assistant

 

We are looking to appoint a Supply Teaching Assistant to join Fenland Schools Federation

 

Can you make a difference to our children? Are you able to quickly adapt learning strategies to enable all children to flourish?

 

We are looking for a supply teaching assistant to complement our Federation team. The role involves cover across the Federation as necessary. Assisting the classroom teachers through support and inclusion of children, working with small groups and one to one, encouraging the children to become independent.

 

Our staff are creative, ambitious and child-centred and applicants must want to be part of our friendly and ambitious team. You will be given the opportunity to be part of the Federation team, with guidance and support. We are looking for an experienced practitioner who is highly motivated and able to offer high quality education and care to our children. It is essential that you are able to work independently, as well as part of a team, and have excellent communication skills.

 

You will be required to have the equivalent to a GCSE grade C in English and maths. A relevant EYFS Qualification is essential for cover in EYFS. You must be committed to upholding and supporting the Federations values and aims. First aid training would be an advantage.
