Hawker Class Forest School
In Hawker Class, we strongly believe that children need a connection to nature and need to have time for uninterrupted, deep play. With this in mind, Hawker Class attend forest school every Monday for the whole academic year. This gives children the opportunity to thrive through child‑led play that nurtures their curiosity, confidence, and wellbeing. Rooted in the Forest School principles, our sessions provide regular, long‑term access to a natural environment where children can explore at their own pace, take supported risks, and develop resilience. Through hands‑on experiences, meaningful relationships, and opportunities to make their own choices, children build independence, problem‑solving skills, and a strong sense of self. Forest School empowers every child to grow holistically, supporting emotional wellbeing just as much as physical and academic development.
