Online Safety at Home

Some reminders from the first lockdown and useful sites for you to access advice about online safety. It is now more important than ever to check up on your online safety knowledge and talk to children about being safe at home. If you have been given a school device you will need to ensure you have set up the parental controls, if your child has their own device you might like to use this as reminder to check the parental controls on their devices too. We are using some YouTube links, so you will need to ensure they have autoplay turned off, so when our links have finished the next video doesn't play something you wouldn't want them to see.

This looks great https://www.parents.parentzone.org.uk/morearticles/what-would-schools-normally-be-telling-children-about-internet-safety it contains similar information to what we would be teaching the children in school.

If you need any help please let us know, either call or email us, or mention it to the member of school staff that rings you each week.
