Assessment and Latest Exam Results

In accordance with the National Curriculum, the work and progress of your child will be regularly assessed. In Reception and Years 1, 3, 4 and 5 this assessment is mainly teacher assessment, supported by standardised tests where appropriate.

In Year 2 and Year 6 all children complete statutory testing in the form of SATs (Standardised Assessment Tests.) We send home information to parents and discuss this at parents evening in the Spring term.

Children in Year 1 will take the phonic screening test. Children who did not met the level expected in Year 1, retake the check in Y2.

Children in Reception be assessed against the Early Years Foundation Stage Profile.

Children in Nursery are assessed using EYFS and Development Matters, this is based on teacher assessment.

See below for our school data for the academic years 2017 -18 and 2018-19. “The government will not publish KS2 school level data for the 2021 to 2022 academic year. The last available public data is from the 2018 to 2019 academic year. It is important to note that the data from that year may no longer reflect current performance.”
